Job summary

American Cruise Lines seeks an Excursions Director to lead shore excursions, explorations and transfers across onboard itineraries. You will be a company representative, coordinating with vendors and guiding guests through port adventures with a strong emphasis on guest satisfaction and safety.

You will manage daily briefings, handle logistics, and ensure timely operations while maintaining brand integrity on U.S.-based itineraries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in hospitality, tourism, or event management preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Enthusiasm, confidence, and a can-do attitude.
• Strong public speaking skills.
• Excellent time management and attention to detail.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. geography preferred.
• TWIC credential is required.

Responsibilities

• Arrange and confirm all shore excursions, explorations, adventures and transfers.
• Be well-versed in cruising region, ports and excursions offered.
• Accompany guests on daily excursions as brand ambassador.
• Coordinate logistics with vendors and ground operators for timely service.
• Accommodate guest requests, including personalized arrangements.
• Present detailed excursion briefings to guests at cruise start.
• Communicate excursion changes to guests confidently.
• Oversee inventory and reporting for excursions and supplies.
