American Cruise Lines is seeking an Excursions Director to join our shipboard team for the 2027 season. You will arrange and lead shore excursions, coordinate with vendors, and ensure exceptional guest experiences across our US-flag fleet.

You must be skilled in public speaking, time management and guest engagement, with a hospitality background and TWIC clearance. The role is full-time, onboard, with a competitive daily rate and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, tourism, or event management preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Enthusiasm, confidence, and a can-do attitude.
• Strong public speaking skills.
• Excellent time management and attention to detail.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. Geography preferred.
• Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC).
• Ability to perform essential functions with or without accommodation.

Aufgaben

• Arrange, confirm and adjust shore excursions, explorations and transfers.
• Be well-versed in cruising region, ports and excursions.
• Accompany guests on daily excursions as brand ambassador.
• Coordinate logistics with vendors and ground operators.
• Accommodate guest requests including personalized arrangements.
• Present detailed excursion briefings to guests at cruise start.
• Communicate excursion changes to guests confidently.
• Oversee excursion inventory and invoicing; manage system hardware.
• Manage launch boat operations with the Mate.
• Coordinate weekly office inventory and packing materials.
• Inform crew of daily excursion offerings and turnaround day prep.
• Promote on-board sales and brand loyalty program.
• Report status to Home Office on cruise, excursions and guest issues.
