Job summary

Daniel Defense is seeking a Team Leader for the D shift to supervise a manufacturing team in Black Creek, GA. You will lead daily production, ensure on-time starts, and drive safety and quality improvements.

Responsibilities include coaching 5–9 team members, conducting safety meetings, applying SOPs, and collaborating with other departments to resolve production issues. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in manufacturing or related field required or equivalent
• 1–2 years leadership in manufacturing preferred
• Proven record of professionalism and integrity
• Teamwork and ability to cooperate and work proactively with others
• Strong time management and communication skills
• Self-motivated and able to work under deadlines and pressure
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
• Willing to work extra hours as needed

Responsibilities

• Lead a manufacturing team of 5–9 employees to meet daily production goals and KPIs.
• Provide training and development to improve Safety, 6S, Quality, Cost and Efficiency.
• Set, monitor and meet daily production goals and daily metric reporting.
• Ensure shifts start/end on time; communicate and engage team to meet requirements.
• Lead daily safety meetings and uphold SOPs.
• Troubleshoot with other departments to prioritize and solve problems.
