Job summary

Daniel Defense in Georgia seeks a Group Leader to drive daily production and lead a team of 4–9 employees. You will set, monitor, and achieve production goals, manage time and attendance, and coach staff toward higher performance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You'll apply Lean tools, conduct safety meetings, ensure SOP compliance, and collaborate with adjacent teams to troubleshoot and improve Quality, Delivery, and Productivity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in manufacturing or related field; 5 years of manufacturing experience.
• 1–2 years of experience in a leadership role preferred.
• Proven track record in quality tools such as FMEA, SPC, Control Plans, and 8D.
• Strong teamwork, professionalism and integrity, with excellent communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 4–9 employees, setting and monitoring daily production goals.
• Maintain time and attendance and hold team members accountable to objectives.
• Develop staff via performance management, evaluations and coaching.
• Ensure SOPs are followed; lead daily safety meetings and Lean improvements.
• Troubleshoot with cross-functional teams to improve Safety, Quality, Delivery.
