Job summary

Daniel Defense is seeking a Team Leader in Black Creek, GA to guide a manufacturing team to meet daily production goals and KPI targets. The role reports to the Production Supervisor and focuses on safety, quality, and efficiency.

You will mentor 5–9 team members, ensure SOP adherence, and collaborate with cross-functional groups to resolve issues. A manufacturing-related Associate degree and leadership experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in manufacturing or related field plus 3 years of manufacturing experience.
• 1–2 years in a leadership role preferred in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and integrity required.

Responsibilities

• Lead a manufacturing team to meet daily production goals and KPIs.
• Maintain span of control of 5–9 employees.
• Train and develop team to improve safety, 6S, quality, cost, and efficiency.
• Ensure shifts start/end on time; report daily metrics.
• Lead daily safety meetings and SOP adherence.
• Troubleshoot production issues with cross‑functional teams.
• Use Lean tools to improve manufacturing processes.
• Demonstrate commitment to safety and company values.
• Be prepared to work in other departments or shifts as needed.
• Contribute to a positive, high-integrity work environment.
