Daniel Defense is seeking a Group Leader to guide a manufacturing team of 4–9 personnel, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time production. You will set daily goals, monitor metrics, and drive continuous improvement in a fast‑paced environment.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in manufacturing and 5+ years in manufacturing with 1–2 years in leadership, plus proficiency in MS Office and quality tools. Strong teamwork and communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing or related field with 5 years of manufacturing experience, or equivalent
• 1–2 years of leadership experience in manufacturing preferred
• Strong integrity, professionalism and teamwork
• Proven ability to communicate effectively across all levels of leadership
• Good time management, attention to detail and strong written/oral communication
• Self-motivated, able to work independently or in a team under deadlines
• Experience with quality tools: FMEA, SPC, Control Plans, 8D
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications

Responsibilities

• Lead a manufacturing team of 4–9 employees and meet daily production goals
• Set, monitor and report daily metrics and KPI progress
• Develop team members using performance management tools
• Ensure compliance with SOPs and conduct daily safety meetings
• Apply Lean principles to continuously improve processes
• Troubleshoot with cross-functional teams and prioritize issues
• Maintain attendance records and ensure shift coverage
• Drive a culture of safety, quality and productivity
