Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing or related field + 5 years previous manufacturing experience
• 1-2 years of experience in a leadership role preferred; in a manufacturing setting
• Proven record in field of experience with professionalism and integrity
• Teamwork and the ability to cooperate and work proactively with others
• Good time management and attention to detail; strong written and oral communication
• Experience with FMEA’s, SPC, Control Plans, 8D and other quality tools
• Competent with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of 4–9 employees on the D shift
• Set, monitor and meet daily production goals and metrics
• Hold team members accountable to company objectives
• Maintain time and attendance data daily
• Develop employees using performance evaluations and disciplinary processes
• Conduct daily safety meetings and ensure SOP adherence
• Identify and solve problems with related teams and departments
• Promote safety, 6S, quality, delivery and productivity improvements
