Job summary

Daniel Defense is seeking a Team Leader for the D Shift in our manufacturing facility. You will lead a manufacturing team of 5–9, drive daily production goals, and report metrics under the Production Supervisor.

Department: Manufacturing, Division: Operations, in a high‑demand environment. You will coach safety, 6S, quality, and cost improvements, implement SOPs, troubleshoot with cross‑functional teams, and apply Lean principles to improve processes while upholding our values.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent with 3 years manufacturing experience.
• 1–2 years in a leadership role preferred; leadership experience valued.
• Strong teamwork, integrity, and professionalism are required.
• Good time management, attention to detail, and clear communication with all levels of leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing team (typically 5–9 employees) to meet daily production goals.
• Provide training and development to improve safety,6S, quality, cost and efficiency.
• Set and monitor daily production goals and report metrics.
• Ensure shifts start/end on time and communicate daily requirements and KPIs.
• Lead daily safety meetings and ensure SOP adherence.
• Troubleshoot with cross‑functional teams and use Lean tools to improve processes.
