Job summary

ApplegreenUSA operates over 80 travel plazas across the Northeast and Midwest, delivering convenience and a wide array of food options. The shift supervisor will lead shifts, ensure exceptional customer service, and maintain brand standards and food safety requirements.

As the role progresses, you will train new team members, monitor cash handling compliance, and support daily opening, closing, and operational tasks. Flexible schedules and robust benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Demonstrates the ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Consistently provide friendly customer service by engaging in positive, helpful interactions with customers and resolve complaints.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists in accordance with company policies/procedures.
• Operate POS system, process payments, and follow cash handling policies.
• Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed including wrapping, labelling, dating, stocking, storing, rotating, and checking temperature of products.
• Complete with a variety of kitchen-related tasks including prepping, thawing, cooking, packaging, wrapping, and cleaning.
• Stock, clean, and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Actively cross-sell and up-sell products.
• Maintain knowledge of products and services available in the plaza.
• Assist in training of new team members.
• Follow brand standards, food safety requirements, and all company policies.
• Inform plaza leadership of observations or problems.
• Execute additional tasks as assigned.
