Job summary

Applegreen USA is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead daily shifts, ensure exceptional customer service, and uphold brand standards and food safety. You will train new team members and monitor cash handling policies.

The role requires standing for extended periods, a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays, and the ability to work in a fast-paced travel plaza environment with opportunities to advance within a growing national network.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Demonstrates the ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Consistently provide friendly customer service by engaging in positive interactions and resolving complaints.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists in accordance with company policies/procedures.
• Operate POS system, process payments, and follow cash handling policies.
• Ensure proper food handling procedures including wrapping, labeling, dating, stocking, rotating, and checking temperatures.
• Perform kitchen-related tasks such as prep, thawing, cooking, packaging, and cleaning.
• Stock, clean, and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Actively cross-sell and up-sell products.
• Maintain knowledge of plaza products and services.
• Assist in training new team members.
• Follow brand standards and all company policies.
• Inform plaza leadership of concerns; perform additional tasks as assigned.
