Job summary

MOD Pizza in California is hiring a Shift Supervisor to lead restaurant operations during scheduled shifts and mentor new hires, program rollouts, and standards. You will be the senior squad member on shift, guiding the team to deliver the best MOD experience and guest satisfaction.

You will flex to restaurant needs, manage cash, oversee inventory, and support leadership in daily operations. Must be 18+, have 1+ year of service experience, and obtain a food safety certification within 30 days.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of customer service or restaurant experience.
• Proven ability to mentor, train or lead.
• Strong decision-making and prioritization.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Enforce processes and standards with coaching.
• Calm under high volume.
• Within 30 days, obtain food safety and/or alcohol certification where required.
• Able to communicate clearly in writing and speech.

Responsibilities

• Deploy squad properly to support guests and daily operations.
• Train newly hired/promoted squad and support new programs.
• Maintain operating systems and equipment to meet goals.
• Ensure food safety using MOD tools and standards.
• Listen and resolve squad member and guest concerns; escalate when needed.
• Manage cash within the shift accurately.
• Take inventory and place orders with GM support.
• Follow opening/closing checklists and use tools to meet requirements.
• Review emails for updates from Slice and other sources.
