Job summary

MOD Pizza is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead restaurant operations during scheduled shifts and support training for new hires, programs, and standards. You will mentor the squad, ensure safety, manage cash, and help deliver an outstanding guest experience while upholding MOD’s values.

You will adapt to the needs of the restaurant, sometimes leading and other times executing tasks, always maintaining the MOD experience as the top priority.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year of customer service or restaurant experience.
• Experience mentoring, training, or informal leadership.
• Ability to prioritize and make decisions.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Proven ability to follow and enforce processes and standards; coach compassionately.
• Ability to stay calm in high-volume periods.
• Must obtain a food safety and/or alcohol beverage certification within 30 days of start where required by law.
• Proficient in written and oral communication.
• Able to work at least 3 shifts and 18 hours per week, including peak hours.

Responsibilities

• Lead restaurant operations during shifts and assist training for new hires and program rollouts.
• Ensure operating systems and equipment are maintained to meet restaurant goals, including online ordering and catering systems.
• Maintain food safety and MOD standards in Back of House and Front of House.
• Address squad member and guest concerns, escalate when needed.
• Manage cash within the shift, process refunds, and handle cash in the safe.
• Take inventory and place orders as needed with the GM.
• Follow shift checklists and use tools to execute tasks timely.
• Keep the team informed through regular emails and updates from MOD sources.
