Job summary

Church's Chicken is seeking a Shift Leader to guide on-shift Team Members through coaching, training and development to deliver an outstanding customer experience. The role emphasizes adherence to Cajun Operating Company policies and procedures and maintaining high standards of service, food safety and cleanliness.

The Shift Leader will monitor daily operations, ensure proper cash handling and POS usage, and lead by example in executing standard operating procedures.

Qualifications

• Completes weekly sales reports, bank deposits, cash, inventory worksheets and related forms with accuracy.
• Enters inventory and payroll into the POS system as required.
• Polls nightly via proper POS closedown procedures.
• Adheres to cash handling and security procedures including drawer counts and voids.
• Possesses valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle during shifts.
• Completes Shift Leader certification program.

Responsibilities

• Monitors prompt, friendly customer service.
• Ensures menu products are prepared and served to standard.
• Ensures team members perform assigned tasks.
• Assists team members in preparing quality products and maintaining cleanliness.
• Demonstrates proper procedures for team members to follow.
• Enforces safety and security policies and procedures.
• Oversees opening/closing duties per shift checklist.
• Follows proper food handling, storage and rotation procedures.
• Maintains professional leadership behaviors at all times.
• Ensures on-time attendance by employees for shifts.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
