Job summary

Goodwill of North Georgia is seeking a Store Supervisor to oversee daily retail operations, ensure customer service standards, and maintain store appearance.

You will open and close the store as key holder, supervise team members, coach and develop staff, and enforce SOPs and safety policies. The role requires strong communication, hands-on leadership, and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced nonprofit environment.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• 2–3 years of retail experience.
• Associates degree preferred in retail management.

Responsibilities

• Supervise store personnel during assigned shift to meet operational standards.
• Open or close the store as key holder/team leader on duty.
• Develop, train, coach and support team members for career growth.
• Comply with SOPs and safety/security policies.
• Greet and assist donors/customers and ensure efficient service.
• Resolve complaints and communicate issues to management.
• Maintain tasks across all workstations and store appearance.
• Maintain company records and reports accurately and timely.
• Attend meetings and trainings as required.
• Transfer to any Goodwill store within the territory as needed.
