O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and daily operations. The role may assume shift management in the absence of store leadership and bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

The position emphasizes strong communication with customers and teammates, adherence to procedures for orders, returns, and invoicing, and proactive participation in store programs and safety

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team in delivering excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise showroom customer service levels and execution of service programs.
• Answer telephone per company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and DC orders and notify customers on shipment arrivals.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases per procedure using outside purchase ledger.
• Process returns and exchanges, issue refunds with correct payment methods.
• Invoice all merchandise, including core charges and warranties, before shipment.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks.
• Ensure adherence to posted schedule and clocking in/out per policy.
• Perform opening/closing duties, day-end procedures, deposits, and security checks.
• Other duties as assigned.
