Qualifications

• Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Leadership experience preferred but not required.
• Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills.
• Ability to provide direction and make appropriate decisions while serving as Manager on Duty.
• Dependable with reliable transportation.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs.
• Ability to climb ladders, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely operate required store equipment after completing appropriate training.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Manager on Duty and direct the team during shifts.
• Lead by example to uphold neighbor service, teamwork, productivity, and professionalism.
• Assign tasks, track completion, and coach in real time.
• Assist with training and onboarding.
• Resolve neighbor concerns and escalate issues when needed.
• Handle opening and closing, cash handling, deposits, and back-office tasks.
• Support stocking, down stocking, truck processing, merchandising, price changes, inventory accuracy, and store recovery.
• Maintain cleanliness, animal care, safety, security, and overall store conditions.
• Communicate concerns to store management.
• Perform nail trims and other approved services when trained.
• Other duties and responsibilities as needed.
