CVS Health offers an entry-level Shift Supervisor Trainee position aimed at developing essential supervisory skills for future leadership roles. Trainees will gain experience in customer service and store operations, supporting the management team while ensuring high customer satisfaction and loyalty. A high school diploma is required, along with a flexible schedule and key interpersonal skills.
The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term position designed to prepare employees for higher supervisory roles such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. The trainee performs tasks as directed to develop supervisory skills, completes basic management training, and learns about key aspects of the business, including building customer loyalty through exceptional service and understanding CVS/pharmacy culture.
Upon successful completion of the training program, trainees are eligible for promotion to open Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor positions. These leadership roles support the CVS Store Management team by driving store execution and performance, and by focusing on excellent customer service to build consumer loyalty. In the absence of a manager, the Operations or Shift Supervisor leads store staff, ensures smooth store operations, and completes all opening and closing procedures.
Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent. Retail experience, deductive reasoning, analytical skills, computer skills, and advanced communication skills are desired. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, overnights, weekends, and overtime, is required.
The pay range reflects the base hourly rate or full-time annual salary; actual offers depend on experience, education, location, and other factors.
