The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term position designed to prepare employees for higher supervisory roles such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. Trainees perform assigned work to develop supervisory skills, complete basic management training, and learn about key aspects of the business, including building customer loyalty through exceptional service and understanding CVS/pharmacy culture.
Upon successful completion of the training program, Trainees are considered for promotion to open Supervisor positions. These leadership roles support the Store Management team in driving store performance and enhancing customer loyalty through excellent service. When no manager is onsite, the Supervisor leads store staff, ensures smooth operations, and oversees opening and closing procedures.
Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent. Candidates should have retail experience, deductive reasoning, analytical and computer skills, and advanced communication skills. Flexibility to work early mornings, overnights, weekends, and overtime is also necessary.
The pay range reflects the base hourly rate or full-time annual salary, depending on the position, experience, education, and location.
