CVS Health is seeking a Shift Supervisor Trainee, an entry-level position aimed at developing supervisory skills for future roles. The trainee will assist in managing store operations, enhancing customer loyalty, and leading store staff effectively. The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term position designed to prepare employees for higher supervisory roles such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. The trainee performs tasks as directed to develop supervisory skills, completes basic management training, and learns about key aspects of the business, including building customer loyalty through exceptional service and understanding CVS/pharmacy culture.
Upon successful completion of the training program, trainees become eligible for promotion to open Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor positions. These leadership roles support the store management team by driving store performance and enhancing customer loyalty through excellent service. In the absence of a manager, the Operations or Shift Supervisor leads store staff, ensures smooth operations, and oversees opening and closing procedures.
Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent. Retail experience, deductive reasoning, analytical skills, computer skills, and advanced communication skills are preferred. Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, overnights, weekends, and overtime, is necessary.
The pay range reflects the base hourly rate or annual salary, depending on the position, with actual offers based on experience, education, location, and other factors.
