This entry-level role is designed to prepare individuals for supervisory positions through hands-on training in management and customer service. Participants will learn to lead store operations, enhance customer loyalty, and support store management. Ideal candidates should have a high school diploma, retail experience, and strong communication skills.
The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term position designed to prepare employees for higher supervisory roles such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. The role involves performing tasks as directed to gain supervisory experience, completing basic management training, and learning about key aspects of the business, including customer loyalty and CVS/pharmacy culture.
Upon successful completion of the training program, trainees may be considered for promotion to open supervisory positions. These roles support store management in driving store performance and building customer loyalty through excellent service. When no manager is onsite, the supervisor leads store staff, ensures smooth operations, and completes opening and closing procedures.
Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent. Experience in retail is preferred. Candidates should have deductive reasoning, analytical skills, computer skills, and advanced communication skills. Flexibility to work early mornings, overnights, weekends, and overtime is required.
This pay range reflects the base hourly rate or full-time salary, with actual offers depending on experience, education, location, and other factors.
