CVS Health seeks a Shift Supervisor Trainee for a role aimed at developing supervisory skills through hands-on experience. This entry-level position will assist in managing store operations and delivering excellent customer service while preparing for future supervisory roles.
The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term position designed to prepare employees for higher supervisory roles such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. Trainees perform assigned work to develop supervisory skills, complete training in operations and management, and learn about key aspects of the business, including building customer loyalty through exceptional service and understanding CVS/pharmacy culture.
Upon successful completion of the training program, trainees are eligible for promotion to open supervisory positions. These roles support store management in executing store operations and enhancing performance while fostering customer loyalty through excellent service. When no manager is onsite, the supervisor leads staff, ensures smooth operations, and completes opening and closing procedures.
Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, retail experience, deductive reasoning, analytical and computer skills, and advanced communication skills. Flexibility to work early mornings, overnights, weekends, and overtime is also necessary.
The pay range reflects the base hourly rate or full-time salary, depending on the position, experience, education, and location.
At CVS Health, our purpose is helping people on their path to better health through health services, plans, and community pharmacists. We aim to make quality care affordable, accessible, simple, and seamless, supporting overall well-being.
