CVS Health is seeking a dedicated Shift Supervisor Trainee to develop supervisory skills in a retail environment. This entry-level role includes management training, customer service responsibilities, and preparation for potential advancement into supervisory positions. The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term position designed to prepare employees for higher supervisory roles such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. Trainees perform assigned work to develop supervisory skills, complete basic management training, and learn about key aspects of the business, including building customer loyalty through exceptional service and understanding CVS/pharmacy culture.
Upon successful completion of the training program, Trainees are eligible for consideration for promotion to open supervisory positions. These roles support the CVS Store Management team by driving store execution and performance, fostering customer loyalty through excellent service, and leading store staff in the absence of a manager, ensuring smooth operations and completion of opening and closing procedures.
Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent. Retail experience is preferred. Candidates should have deductive reasoning, analytical, computer, and advanced communication skills, and be able to work flexible hours, including early mornings, overnights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
The pay range reflects the base hourly rate or annual salary for the position's grade. Actual offers depend on experience, education, location, and other factors.
