CVS Health is seeking a Shift Supervisor Trainee to prepare for supervisory roles in store management. The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term position designed to prepare employees for higher supervisory roles, such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. The trainee performs work as directed to develop supervisory skills, completes basic management training, and learns about key aspects of the business, including building customer loyalty through exceptional service and understanding CVS/pharmacy culture.
Upon successful completion of the training program, trainees may be considered for promotion to open supervisory positions. These roles support store management in driving store performance and enhancing customer loyalty through excellent service. When no manager is onsite, the supervisor leads store staff, ensures smooth operations, and completes opening and closing procedures.
Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and experience in retail. Candidates should have deductive reasoning, analytical, computer, and advanced communication skills. Flexibility to work early mornings, overnights, weekends, and overtime as needed is essential.
The pay range reflects the base hourly or full-time annual salary, with actual offers depending on experience, education, location, and other factors.
