CVS Health is seeking a Shift Supervisor Trainee in Las Vegas for an entry-level position aimed at preparing candidates for supervisory roles. This role involves developing leadership skills and ensuring exceptional customer service, while supervising store operations when managers are not onsite. Successful candidates will have strong communication skills and a high school diploma, with opportunities for promotion post-training.
The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term position designed to prepare employees for higher supervisory roles such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. The trainee performs assigned work to develop supervisory skills, completes basic management training, and learns key aspects of the business, including building customer loyalty through exceptional service and understanding CVS/pharmacy culture.
Upon successful completion of the training program, trainees are eligible for promotion to open Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor positions. These leadership roles support the CVS Store Management team in driving store performance and enhancing customer loyalty. When no manager is onsite, the Operations or Shift Supervisor leads the store staff, ensures smooth operations, and oversees opening and closing procedures.
