CVS Health is seeking a Shift Supervisor Trainee for an entry-level supervisory role. This position offers the opportunity to develop management skills while ensuring customer satisfaction and supporting store operations. Ideal candidates will possess a high school diploma, strong communication skills, and a background in retail. Flexible working hours are essential.
The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term position designed to prepare employees for higher supervisory roles such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. The trainee performs assigned work to develop supervisory skills, completes basic management training, and learns about key aspects of the business, including building customer loyalty through exceptional service and understanding CVS/pharmacy culture.
Upon successful completion of the training program, trainees are eligible for promotion to open supervisor positions. These leadership roles support store management in executing store operations and enhancing performance while focusing on customer service. When no manager is onsite, the supervisor leads the staff, ensures smooth store operations, and oversees opening and closing procedures.
Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent. Experience in retail, deductive reasoning, analytical skills, computer proficiency, and advanced communication skills are preferred. Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, overnights, weekends, and overtime, is required.
This pay range reflects the base hourly rate or full-time salary, with actual offers depending on experience, education, location, and other factors.
