CVS Health is seeking a Shift Supervisor Trainee for an entry-level position aimed at developing supervisory skills. The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term position designed to prepare employees for higher supervisory roles such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. Trainees perform assigned work to develop supervisory skills, complete basic management training, and learn about key aspects of the business, including building customer loyalty through exceptional service and understanding CVS/pharmacy culture.
Upon successful completion of the training program, trainees are eligible for promotion to open supervisory positions. These roles support store management in driving store performance and enhancing customer loyalty through excellent service. When no manager is onsite, the supervisor leads the staff, ensures smooth store operations, and oversees opening and closing procedures.
Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent. Additional requirements include retail experience, deductive reasoning, analytical and computer skills, advanced communication skills, and flexibility to work varied shifts, including early mornings, overnights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
This pay range reflects the base hourly rate or salary, with actual compensation depending on experience, education, location, and other factors.
