CVS Health is seeking a Shift Supervisor Trainee to prepare for supervisory positions within the company. This entry-level role involves learning about store operations, managing staff, and enhancing customer service. Successful trainees may be promoted to higher supervisory roles, focusing on customer loyalty and operational excellence.
The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term position designed to prepare employees for higher supervisory roles such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. The trainee performs assigned work to develop supervisory skills, completes basic management training, and learns about key aspects of the CVS/pharmacy business, including building customer loyalty through excellent service.
Upon successful completion of the training program, trainees are considered for promotion to open supervisory positions. These leadership roles support store management in executing store operations and enhancing performance, with a focus on customer service. When no manager is onsite, the supervisor leads store staff, ensures smooth operations, and oversees opening and closing procedures.
Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent. Candidates should have retail experience, deductive reasoning, analytical and computer skills, and advanced communication skills. Flexibility to work early mornings, overnights, weekends, and overtime is necessary.
This pay range reflects the base hourly rate or full-time salary for the position's grade. Actual offers depend on experience, education, location, and other factors.
