CVS Health is seeking a Shift Supervisor Trainee responsible for managing store operations and ensuring exceptional customer service. This entry-level position is designed to develop supervisory skills, with the potential for promotion to higher roles within the company. Candidates must possess a high school diploma and have flexibility in their work schedule.
The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term position designed to prepare employees for higher supervisory roles such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. The trainee performs assigned work to develop supervisory skills, completes basic management training, and learns key aspects of the business, including building customer loyalty through exceptional service and understanding CVS/pharmacy culture.
Upon successful completion of the training program, trainees are considered for promotion to open supervisory positions. These roles support the store management team by driving store execution, performance, and fostering customer loyalty. When no manager is onsite, the supervisor leads the store staff, ensures smooth operations, and oversees opening and closing procedures.
Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent. Additional requirements include retail experience, deductive reasoning, analytical skills, computer proficiency, and advanced communication skills. Flexibility to work early mornings, overnights, weekends, and overtime is necessary.
The pay range reflects the base hourly rate or full-time salary, with actual offers dependent on experience, education, location, and other factors.
