CVS Health is seeking a Shift Supervisor Trainee in Wauwatosa, WI, for an entry-level role focused on developing supervisory skills. The trainee will gain experience in management and customer service, with potential promotion to Operations or Shift Supervisor available after successful training completion.
The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term position designed to prepare employees for higher supervisory roles such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. The trainee performs work as directed to develop supervisory skills, completes basic management training, and learns about key aspects of the business, including building customer loyalty through exceptional service and understanding CVS/pharmacy culture.
Upon successful completion of the training program, trainees are eligible for promotion to open Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor positions. These leadership roles support the store management team by driving store execution, performance, and customer loyalty through excellent service. When no manager is onsite, the Operations or Shift Supervisor leads the store staff, ensures smooth operations, and oversees opening and closing procedures.
Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent. Relevant experience in retail, deductive reasoning, analytical skills, computer skills, and advanced communication skills are preferred. Flexibility to work early mornings, overnights, weekends, and overtime is required.
The pay range reflects the base hourly rate or full-time salary, with actual offers based on experience, education, location, and other factors.
