CVS Health is seeking a Shift Supervisor Trainee in Milwaukee. This entry-level position is designed to prepare you for future supervisory roles through management training, customer service excellence, and operational understanding. Successful trainees can be promoted to supervisor positions, supporting store performance and ensuring effective operations.
The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term position designed to prepare employees for higher supervisory roles such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. The trainee performs tasks as directed to gain supervisory responsibilities, completes basic management and operations training, and learns about key aspects of the business, including building customer loyalty through exceptional service and understanding CVS/pharmacy culture.
Upon successful completion of the training program, trainees are eligible for promotion to open supervisor positions. These leadership roles support store management in driving store performance and building customer loyalty through excellent service. When no manager is onsite, the supervisor leads store staff, ensures smooth operations, and completes opening and closing procedures.
Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent. Additional experience in retail, deductive reasoning, analytical skills, computer skills, and advanced communication skills are preferred. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, overnights, weekends, and overtime, is necessary.
The pay range reflects the base hourly rate or full-time annual salary, depending on the position, with actual offers based on experience, education, location, and other factors.
