Job summary

MOD Pizza is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead restaurant operations during shifts, train new hires, and model MOD’s values. You will guide the squad to deliver exceptional guest experiences and uphold standards in a fast-paced environment.

You will support restaurant management, provide feedback, and help set the squad up for success during training and peak times. This role emphasizes leadership, ownership, and a strong customer service mindset.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of customer service or restaurant experience.
• Proven ability to mentor, train or lead informally.
• Ability to prioritize and make decisions.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Food safety and/or alcohol certification within 30 days of start date.
• Proficient in written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work a minimum of 3 shifts and 18 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Lead restaurant operations during scheduled shifts and support training for new hires.
• Ensure the squad performs tasks and delivers outstanding guest experiences.
• Support restaurant management and provide guidance to the team.
• Lead deployment of the squad and adjust daily operations as needed.
• Maintain safety and quality using MOD tools and standards.
• Handle cash within the shift accurately and manage petty cash as required.
• Take inventory and place orders as needed with the GM.
