Job summary

MOD SUPER FAST PIZZA, LLC. in Redmond, WA seeks a Shift Supervisor to lead restaurant operations during scheduled shifts, mentor new hires, and ensure top guest experiences. You will train staff, roll out programs, and uphold MOD’s standards across the squad.

You will also support opening/closing tasks, manage cash, take inventory, and ensure safety and food handling practices. This role emphasizes leadership, communication, and adaptability in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of one (1) year of customer service or restaurant experience.
• Must have demonstrated success as a mentor, trainer or informal leader.
• Have a proven ability to prioritize and make decisions.
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Proven success in following and enforcing processes and standards; correcting and coaching in a compassionate manner.
• Have the ability to be a calming presence in periods of high volume.
• You must obtain a food safety certification and/or alcohol beverage certification within 30 days of your start date or sooner where required by law.
• You should be proficient in written and oral communication.
• Have the ability to support restaurant hours working a minimum of 3 shifts and 18 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Lead the shift by doing the tasks needed to ensure guests are served well and operations run smoothly.
• Train newly hired/promoted squad and support the team through new program rollouts and initiatives.
• Ensure operating systems and equipment are maintained to meet restaurant goals, including online ordering, catering, fundraising and customer review systems.
• Use MOD tools and standards to ensure food safety in Back of House and Front of House.
• Listen, acknowledge, and resolve squad member and guest concerns; escalate as needed.
• Manage cash within the shift accurately, including refunds and safe cash handling.
• Take inventory and place orders as needed with GM support.
• Follow opening/midday/closing shift checklists and use tools to meet requirements.
• Monitor emails for updates from Slice and other sources for squad effectiveness.
