Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services in Carlstadt, NJ, is hiring a Shift Supervisor to lead on-site teams at our travel plazas. You will ensure excellent customer service, support daily operations, and uphold brand standards and food safety.

Key duties include supervising staff, handling cash per policies, training new hires, managing opening/closing procedures, operating the POS system, handling product prep and stock, and cross-selling offerings.

Qualificações

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Consistently provide friendly customer service by engaging in positive interactions with customers and resolving complaints.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists per policies.
• Operate POS system, process payments, and follow cash handling policies.
• Ensure proper food handling procedures including wrapping, labeling, dating, stocking, storing and checking temperatures.
• Perform kitchen tasks such as prepping, thawing, cooking, packaging and cleaning.
• Stock, clean and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Actively cross-sell and up-sell products.
• Maintain knowledge of plaza products and services.
• Assist in training new team members.
• Follow brand standards and food safety requirements and company policies.
• Inform leadership of observations or problems.
• Execute other tasks as assigned.
