Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services in New Jersey seeks a Shift Supervisor to lead daily operations at our plaza locations. You’ll ensure top‑notch customer service, oversee cash handling, train new team members, and enforce brand standards and food safety procedures.

You’ll manage opening and closing duties, operate the POS system, and help maintain product quality and stock, while actively engaging travelers with friendly service and upselling opportunities.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead shift operations and ensure team members provide friendly customer service.
• Train new team members and ensure compliance with brand standards and food safety requirements.
• Operate POS system and process payments accurately.
• Follow cash handling policies and complete opening, daily, and closing procedures.
• Maintain product knowledge and stock cleanliness.
• Cross-sell and upsell products where appropriate.
