Applegreen USA Welcome Centers is seeking a Shift Supervisor in New Jersey to lead shifts, ensure excellent customer service, and maintain brand and food safety standards. The role involves training new team members and ensuring cash handling procedures are followed, with duties across front-line operations.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Demonstrates the ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Consistently provide friendly customer service by engaging with travelers and resolving complaints.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures and checklists per policy.
• Operate POS system, process payments, and follow cash handling policies.
• Ensure proper food handling, labeling, dating, stocking, and temperature checks.
• Perform kitchen tasks including prep, cooking, packaging, and cleaning.
• Stock and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Cross-sell and upsell products.
• Maintain knowledge of plaza offerings and services.
• Assist in training new team members.
• Follow brand standards, food safety requirements, and company policies.
• Report observations or concerns to plaza leadership.
• Execute other tasks as assigned.
