Applegreen seeks a Shift Supervisor to lead on-shift operations at our New Jersey plaza. You will manage team members, ensure top-notch customer service, and uphold brand standards and food safety requirements.

This role includes cash handling, training new hires, and daily operational tasks. Responsibilities include opening/closing procedures, POS transactions, accurate product handling, and cross-selling.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Consistently provide friendly customer service and resolve customer concerns.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists per policy.
• Operate POS system and process payments accurately per policies.
• Adhere to proper food handling, labeling, dating, stocking and temperature checks.
• Participate in kitchen tasks including prep, cooking, packaging and cleaning.
• Stock, clean and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Cross-sell and upsell products.
• Maintain knowledge of plaza products and services.
• Assist in training new team members.
• Follow brand standards, food safety requirements and company policies.
• Report observations or issues to plaza leadership.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.
