Applegreen (US) Welcome Centers in Hillside, NJ is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead daily operations, ensuring top-notch guest service and strict brand standards. You will train new team members, oversee cash handling, and collaborate with plaza leadership to meet safety and service goals.

Responsibilities include supervising shifts, handling customer interactions, completing opening/closing tasks, and supporting kitchen and service areas with efficiency and cross-selling opportunities.

Qualifications

• Cash handling experience is required.
• Leadership or shift supervisory experience is preferred.
• Strong ability to interact with customers and coworkers in a friendly, energetic manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Provide friendly customer service and resolve customer issues.
• Complete opening, daily, and closing procedures and checklists.
• Operate POS system, process payments, and follow cash handling policies.
• Ensure proper food handling, including labeling, dating, stocking, and temperature checks.
• Assist with kitchen tasks such as prep, cooking, packaging, and cleaning.
• Stock, clean, and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Cross-sell and upsell products and maintain product knowledge.
