Job summary

CVS Health in Texas is seeking a Shift Supervisor to support store management and drive store execution with a focus on exceptional customer service. When managers are not onsite, you will lead the team, ensure opening and closing procedures are completed, and keep operations running smoothly.

You will supervise crew, price and stock merchandise, assist customers, maintain confidentiality, and help maintain displays and promotions.

Qualifications

• Deductive reasoning ability, analytical skills and computer skills.
• Advanced communication skills and supervision skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some early morning, overnight and weekend shifts, to work overtime as needed, and to respond to urgent issues at the store when they arise.

Responsibilities

• Lead store staff in the absence of management to ensure store operations run smoothly and opening/closing procedures are completed.
• Supervise the store crew through assigning, directing and following up of all activities.
• Effectively communicate information to and from store management and crews.
• Assist customers with questions, problems and complaints and promote CVS customer service culture.
• Handle customer relations issues per policy and maintain customer confidentiality.
• Price merchandise, stock shelves, and execute displays and inventory of weekly, promotional, and seasonal items.
• Reset departments following planograms.
