Job summary

Del Taco in Ohio is seeking a Shift Manager to support the General Manager and lead a team toward an exceptional guest experience. You will help train the next generation of leaders, enforce policies, and ensure safe, efficient operations across the dining room and kitchen.

You will supervise 1 to 7 team members, run shifts, and uphold company standards in quality, safety and service while fostering an energetic, positive work environment. Strong English communication and basic math are required.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in quick service restaurant environment.
• Leadership partner with management and staff to provide quality service.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks with effective follow-through.
• Motivate and lead staff to achieve goals.
• General knowledge of computers, POS systems, and various software.
• Cash handling skills desired.
• Stand/walk for long shifts and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Read, write and speak English effectively.

Responsibilities

• Support General Manager in supervising a team across quality, guest service, and cost controls.
• Run shifts and help implement company policies and systems.
• Supervise 1 to 7 team members and manage staffing decisions as needed.
