Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services is hiring a Shift Supervisor to lead on-shift teams, ensure exceptional service, and uphold brand standards and food safety. You will train new hires and monitor cash handling compliance while maintaining efficient daily operations.

The role requires cash handling and customer service experience, plus leadership ability to motivate staff and engage travelers with a friendly, proactive approach. Flexible schedule included.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Demonstrates the ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Provide friendly customer service and resolve customer complaints.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures.
• Operate POS system and process payments.
• Ensure proper food handling including wrapping, labeling, dating, stocking, storing, rotating, and checking temperatures.
• Perform kitchen tasks: prepping, thawing, cooking, packaging, wrapping, and cleaning.
• Stock, clean, and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Actively cross-sell and up-sell products.
• Maintain knowledge of plaza products/services.
• Assist in training new team members.
• Follow brand standards, food safety requirements, and company policies.
• Inform plaza leadership of observations or problems.
• Execute other tasks as assigned.
