Job summary

MOD SUPER FAST PIZZA, LLC. is hiring a Shift Supervisor in Irvine to lead restaurant operations during shifts, train new hires, and ensure consistent service excellence. You will model MOD’s purpose, support the squad, and drive performance while upholding safety and quality standards.

You will coordinate with management, adapt to peak demand, and mentor team members to deliver the best guest experience. This role requires a calm leadership presence and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of one (1) year of customer service or restaurant experience.
• Must have demonstrated success as a mentor, trainer or informal leader.
• Have a proven ability to prioritize and make decisions.
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Proven success in following and enforcing processes and standards; correcting and coaching in a compassionate manner.
• Have the ability to be a calming presence in periods of high volume.
• You must obtain a food safety certification and/or alcohol beverage certification within 30 days of your start date or sooner where required by law.
• You should be proficient in written and oral communication.
• Have the ability to support restaurant hours working a minimum of 3 shifts and 18 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Lead the shift by directing the squad and ensuring guests receive outstanding service.
• Train newly hired/promoted squad and support programs and initiatives.
• Maintain operating systems and equipment to meet restaurant goals and standards.
• Use MOD tools and standards to ensure food safety in Back of House and Front of House.
• Listen to concerns and escalate issues to the AM/GM as appropriate.
• Manage cash within the shift, including making change and processing refunds.
• Take inventory and place orders as needed with GM support.
• Adhere to opening/midday/closing checklists and tools for timely execution.
• Review emails to stay updated on information from Slice and other sources for squad effectiveness.
