Applegreen (US) Welcome Centers is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead the shift team, ensure friendly customer service, and manage daily operations at our travel plaza locations in New Jersey. You will oversee opening/closing procedures, POS transactions, and maintain food safety standards.

The role requires cash handling experience, and prior supervision is preferred. Flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays is expected. Equal opportunity employment.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic manner.

Responsibilities

• Oversee shift activities and supervise team members.
• Provide friendly customer service and resolve complaints effectively.
• Complete opening, daily, and closing procedures per policy.
• Operate the POS system and handle payments accurately.
• Follow food safety, labeling, dating, stocking and temperature checks for products.
• Perform kitchen-related tasks such as prep, cooking, packaging and cleanup.
• Stock, clean and sanitize workstation and equipment.
