Job summary

Blue Bottle Coffee is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead cafe operations, elevate hospitality, and uphold our strict standards. You will guide team performance, manage inventory, and train new staff to deliver consistent, high-quality beverages and food.

Role emphasizes leadership, guest satisfaction, and sustainability initiatives, with a focus on teamwork and continuous improvement in a fast-paced cafe environment.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 1 year of supervisory experience or experience in team leadership.
• Completed Blue Bottle Academy’s Barista training and validation program or will complete it within 90 days post-hire.
• Existing Food Safety Certification required for the state you will be working in and for your specific role, or will obtain it within 30 days post-hire.

Responsibilities

• Lead cafe operations to deliver hospitality and uphold Blue Bottle standards.
• Oversee service flow, safety, cleanliness, quality, and efficiency.
• Handle inventory management: ordering, receiving, and stock control.
• Onboard and train new team members for seamless integration.
