Blue Bottle Coffee is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead daily cafe operations with a focus on hospitality, beverage quality, and adherence to standards. You will oversee service flow, inventory, and staff training while promoting a culture of curiosity and continuous improvement.

The role emphasizes supporting the team, ensuring safety, and delivering exceptional guest experiences in a fast-paced cafe environment.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 1 year of supervisory experience or team leadership.
• Blue Bottle Academy Barista training completed or within 90 days post-hire.
• Food Safety Certification for the state and role, or to be obtained within 30 days post-hire.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the cafe team to deliver exceptional hospitality and beverage quality.
• Oversee operations to ensure safety, cleanliness, quality, and efficiency.
• Handle inventory, ordering, receiving and cash handling duties.
• Support onboarding and training of new team members.
• Provide guidance on new menu items and procedures.
• Address guest concerns promptly and professionally.
• Promote sustainability initiatives with the team.
