Applegreen USA is seeking a dedicated Shift Supervisor to lead daily operations at our New Jersey plazas. You will guide team members on shift, ensure top-notch customer service, and enforce brand standards and safety procedures across all tasks.

The role involves training new staff, managing cash handling, and ensuring compliance with all policies. The position requires flexibility for days, nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced travel plaza environment.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Demonstrates the ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Consistently provide friendly customer service by engaging with travelers and resolving complaints.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists.
• Operate POS system, process payments, and follow cash handling policies.
• Ensure proper food handling and temperature checks of products.
• Perform kitchen tasks such as prep, cooking, packaging, and cleaning.
• Stock and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Cross-sell and upsell products.
• Maintain product knowledge and assist in training new team members.
