Applegreen in New Jersey is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead shifts, ensure guest satisfaction, and uphold brand standards and safety.

The role involves training new team members, managing cash handling, operating POS, and cross-selling, with flexible schedule including nights and weekends. You will mentor team members, monitor compliance with policies, and support daily operations across the plaza.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Demonstrates ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Consistently provide friendly customer service by engaging in positive, helpful interactions with customers and resolve complaints.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists in accordance with policies.
• Operate POS system, process payments, and follow customer service and cash handling policies.
• Ensure proper food handling procedures including wrapping, labeling, dating, stocking, storing, rotating, and checking temperature of products.
• Perform kitchen tasks including prepping, thawing, cooking, packaging, wrapping, and cleaning.
• Stock, clean, and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Actively cross-sell and up-sell products.
• Maintain knowledge of plaza products and services.
• Assist in training of new team members.
• Follow brand standards, food safety requirements, and company policies.
• Inform plaza leadership of observations/concerns.
• Execute various other tasks as assigned.
