Job summary

Applegreen is seeking a Shift Supervisor in New Jersey to lead daily operations at our Welcome Centers. You will manage shifts, ensure top-notch customer service, oversee cash handling, and maintain brand standards and food safety throughout the plaza.

You will train new team members, enforce policies, and collaborate with plaza leadership to drive performance and guest satisfaction. Flexible scheduling supports nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Demonstrates the ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Consistently provide friendly customer service and resolve complaints.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists per policies.
• Operate POS system, process payments, and follow cash handling procedures.
• Ensure proper food handling, wrapping, labeling, dating, stocking, storing, and temperature checks.
• Perform kitchen-related tasks including prep, thawing, cooking, packaging, and cleaning.
• Stock, clean, and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Cross-sell and upsell products and maintain product knowledge.
