Applegreen is seeking a Shift Supervisor in Bloomfield, NJ to lead daily operations and ensure top service across the travel plaza. You will supervise team members, uphold brand standards, and ensure food safety compliance.

You will train new hires, manage cash handling, and support opening/closing duties while maintaining POS accuracy. A flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to interact with the public in a friendly, energetic manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Provide friendly customer service and resolve complaints.
• Open/close procedures and checklists per policies.
• Operate POS system and process payments per policies.
• Follow food safety, labeling, dating, stocking, and temperature checks.
• Assist in prepping, cooking, packaging, and cleaning tasks.
• Stock, clean, and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Cross-sell and upsell products.
• Maintain knowledge of plaza products and services.
• Assist in training new team members.
• Follow brand standards and company policies.
• Inform plaza leadership of observations or problems.
• Execute additional tasks as assigned.
