Applegreen USA Welcome Centers in Forked River, NJ, is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead on‑shift teams, deliver outstanding customer service, and uphold brand standards and food safety across our plazas.

You will train new staff, manage cash handling, operate the POS, and ensure opening, daily, and closing procedures are completed accurately. You’ll also assist with kitchen tasks, stock and sanitize work areas, and promote additional product sales.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to interact with the public in a friendly, enthusiastic manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Provide friendly customer service and resolve complaints.
• Open, daily and closing procedures/checklists per policy.
• Operate POS, process payments and follow cash handling policies.
• Ensure proper food handling, labeling, dating, stocking and temperature checks.
• Prepare, thaw, cook, package, wrap and clean kitchen tasks.
• Stock and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Cross-sell and upsell products.
• Maintain product knowledge for plaza offerings.
• Train new team members and follow brand standards.
• Report observations or problems to plaza leadership.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
