Applegreen USA Welcome Centers in Sayreville, NJ seeks a Shift Supervisor to lead daily operations on site. You will supervise team members, ensure exceptional customer service, and uphold brand standards and food safety policies.

Responsibilities include opening/closing procedures, POS transactions, stock management, and ongoing training for new hires. The role requires strong communication and a friendly, proactive attitude in a fast-paced travel plaza environment.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Provide friendly customer service and resolve complaints.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures and checklists.
• Operate the POS system to process payments per policy.
• Ensure proper food handling, labeling, dating and stocking.
• Stock, clean, and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Cross-sell and up-sell products.
• Maintain product knowledge and assist training of new team members.
• Follow brand standards, food safety requirements, and company policies.
• Inform plaza leadership of observations or problems.
• Perform additional tasks as needed.
